Many uses are presumed for these worked pottery shards.
Some may be game discs, pendant blanks, spindle whorls in the making.
In this photo are Cibola Whiteware Red Mesa Black-on-White, Cibola Corrugated, and Hohokam Plain and redware discs.
A unique piece is the Biscuit Ware roughly round disc,
among the Cibola Whiteware and Hohokam pieces.
A Jeddito Black-on-Yellow triangular piece in the center.
Large Hohokam Tanque Verde chipped round disc, next step would have been grinding it smooth, but it is unfinished. A Mogollon Corrugated piece with a hole in the center may be a spindle whorl. The upper right hand piece is a rare Anasazi Sikyatki Polychrome triangular disc.
We saved all these from multiple legally obtained collections we have acquired over the years to make an educational and unique lot available at http://www.prehistoriccollector.com/pottery---prehistoric.html
